Sea World

Ok So here I am AGAIN trying to play catch up on our life in posts  

Last February our family went with Brad and Kolleen to California. Chris and I were in Vegas at a the ARA Trade show. We found out that we were expecting another baby a few weeks before the trip. I wasn't too worried, but our plan for hiding it for as long as possible went out the window. Obviously we were going to have to tell Brad and Kolleen since they would probably wonder why I wasn't riding any of the rides :) Of course my morning sickness kicked in while we were in Vegas. UHG! It really kicked into high gear in Cali of course.

Our view from our room at the Bellagio! It was sooooo nice. I got to watch the fountain show ( my fav in Vegas) all the time without all the smut and people on the strip.

This is Chris being filmed for the first time for the ARA show.

When it ended on Friday, Brad and Kolleen drove down to pick us up and head to Cali. Funny thing is is we actually had to have a loaner van from the Dealership because they did not get our new van to us in time. There was no way we were all going to fit with luggage in the Tahoe. It was nice to have. Lots better on gas mileage than the Tahoe for sure. Our first stop was San Diego. We had planned to go to Sea World The next morning, which would have been Saturday, but because of the cold rainy weather we decided to wait a day. Instead we spent Saturday going to museums and such. We went to the Mormon battalion, the mini train museum and to an aircraft carrier. ( don't remember the exact names)

After we watched the video and learned about the Mormon battalion, we got to go outside and Pan for gold. The kids loved it.

Next up was the Train museum. The boys LOVE trains! Thanks to their dad who has his own train set at home. This display was amazing. I can't even imagine how many hours it took to create. And they are still creating more displays. I didn't have my camera with so I had to use my camera on my phone. It blows indoors.

This was my favorite. A Drive in movie theater !!!!

 Next up was the Air craft carrier.

 

Then the next day we headed off to Sea world.

 It was a lot of fun.

 

Man you can tell I was off my camera game. I didn't get many pictures of the whole day. Yikes! It was a blast though. The kids loved the Shamu show and the other shows we went to.
