Chris and I got to go to DC for Jason and Holly's wedding. It was so fun. The hubs even splurged a little with our points to get First Class both ways. ;) love you babe.
The first night we were there we were being kinda lazy and thought about going to see a movie. The concierge laughed at us and told us to go see the sights. So we walked and walked and walked and saw all the festivities for the holiday. We saw the National tree and the tree at the Capital (which came all the way from Sheri and Austins home town of Meeker Colorado by the way). We saw the White house and everything in between. My favorite part however was the food. The concierge told us to go to a place called Matchbox. I was a little skeptical. We had said we wanted some good pizza. So when we finally got there we ordered a pizza and some sliders. The Sliders were AMAZING!!!!! We actually went back on our last day there with Brad and Kolleen because we couldn't get enough. and now we just have to crave them :(| Oh my mouth is watering now just seeing these.... |
The next day we went to the Temple to do a session with everyone. It is such a beautiful temple. I was glad we decided to go. The walkway from the reception area was like a bridge. So pretty. And look at this fun shot I got with my phone no less.
JFK and Jackie O
Look at that handsome fella!! whoosh I am one lucky lady! I got to walk around the city with that!
It always amazes me. The gravestones are so numerous. We noticed that no matter where you stood the headstones were always in line.
After that we walked the million miles over to the Lincoln monument.

| Gross I know but Yeah that's us! |
After viewing all this pictures of us I felt like I was on that cell phone commercial where it shows the guy and his girlfriend in all these different places in the same pose but different clothes ;)
We raced back to the Hotel to change because my awesome hubby got us tickets to. . .
Les Miserables at the National theater. Sad to say but neither of us had ever seen it. I really didn't even know what the story was. It was seriously awesome though. We both loved it. Even better than the movie which we saw a few nights ago.

The next day was the wedding. It was a great day. I am so happy for Jason and Holly.
The next day we did some more sight seeing with Brad and Kolleen. We went to some of the museums of the Smithsonian.
National mall from one end to the other.
and last but not least Me Myself and I and a few more at the National mall ;)
I have some more pictures from this day but I have yet to upload the pictures from that camera. Ahh the curse of having too many cameras and using them all ;)
